creating little things for mmy church's consignment shop

there will be soon an open house at my church's arts and crafts consignment shop.

So I wove a pot holder on my potholder loom, my candles and handmade glycerine soap are there, some scarves I knitted, I stuffed tiny animals into tiny baskets, etc.

Have plans to buy a few things to stuff my grapevine wreath with to ready for sale at my shop.

this will be from 9 -3 on a Friday and a Saturday and I hope lots of shoppers will show up.

today is Columbus Day, bank will be closed, so I am thankful I got my bank business done yesterday. I have enough yarn lying around the house and enough unfinished knitting projects and need to quit buying stuff until my credit cards are paid off.

i have a left thumb that is a bit stiff these days, so I have to knit a row and quit for a few days, so my friend's scarf is going to take a long time into next year.

please do not post comments on my blog unless they are relevant to my knitting, arts and crafts topics

I am sorry but I found these two comments that were replies to my persnal blog topics of knitting, candle making, weaving, and other fiber type arts and or crafts. that were totally irrelevant such as forest products or whatever else under the sun to be a rude invasion of my blog. I rather see no comments than have to read stuff that totally does not bear on knitting, candle making, weaving and other arts and crafts. Please refrain from using my blog as a personal yakkity yak and chit chat space between yourselves that is not yours especially on topics that have nothing to do with my main arts and crafts focus or else simply please refrain from my blog as a dumping ground for junk postings.

Thanks for understanding and respecting my wishes.
